| i have been to thailand often and find great value in car hire and an open itinery. counter to popular belief driving in rural areas and provincial cities is not hard and the roadusers are mostly polite ...unlike some other countries. there is an "amazing" experience to be had in exploring the many and varied, old and new features together with the people who i find to be among the most courteous in the world that i have explored to date. accomodation is varied and i have not been stuck without a suitable stay option yet. chiang mai is my favourite place with the flower festival my favourite carnival to date. the white temple and the bottle temples are quite astonishing achievments.going back in a few weeks, and also visiting cambodia this time. hope this helps. another intrepid thai traveller. |

Hello, Sawadee ka, Konitchiwa, Marhaba...
Dear Sir / Madam,
My name is Hussein Ghouleh, but you can call me Hugh,
I have recently finished my first part of touring the world which was South East Asia, and as a Jordanian with 10 years of travel & tourism operational experience all over the Middle East which was definitely a different kind of experience.
During my past travels while I was operating my own company in Dubai, I have had the opportunity to visit different parts of South East Asia, and started planning to move here after 3 years of establishing my own company, I have left the city life and moved South East Asia to fulfill another dream of mine away from the corporate world, which is writing, it is Mainly related to travel & tourism, but also far extends to relate how this amazing industry inspired me, and is a major part of our daily life far more than we realize, which is where I try my best to relate to, through personal experiences, as well as others.
I am currently a Self Employed Travel Writer residing in Beautiful Chiang Mai / Thailand, I am as well a Retail, Hospitality & Tourism operations Developer, however, Both my jobs relate to each other in numerous occasions, as I do write a lot of articles related to the tourism as an industry, and rather than just travel writing about destinations in general, I reach out to people and inspire them to reach out to their goals, and hopefully be able to provide guidelines to the ones who are welling.
I have recently created a blog and posted only 7 Articles in different categories for now, please feel free to check my link, as I will be frequently updating it with different, entertaining as well as very informational and provide a more positive approach to push the development of the travel & tourism industry to new levels by inspiring change.
